Description :
This training is now a 1-day intensive course to prepare candidates for the American Concrete Institute certification exams to become a Construction Construction Special Inspector. This course is also an excellent general training course for the inspection of concrete structures. During this course, we will review the requirements of the relevant codes and standards as well as the recommended practices for the installation of formwork, the placement of reinforcement and other parts embedded in concrete, the placement, finishing and cure of the concrete as well as the stripping. Some time will be spent reading plans.
In order to be able to follow this course advantageously it is important that each participant has in his possession the following documents:
- CSA-A23.1 et A23.2, Concrete materials and methods of concrete construction / Test methods and standard practices for concrete - Version 2019.
- Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures, 8th Edition.
- Reinforcing Steel Institute of Canada, Reinforcing Steel Manual of Standard Practice.

The participation fee is $440.00 plus taxes and includes the following: registration fees, lunches (if applicable) and breaks (if applicable).
